Calypso Networks Association (CNA) is led by a world-class team of industry experts with extensive knowledge and experience across the transport and mobility sector.
The team operates from Paris, Brussels, Lisbon, Konstanz, São Paulo, Mexico and the Island of la Réunion to support CNA and its members.

Gianluca Cuzzolin was elected chairman of CNA in May 2022. He has over 25 years’ experience in the transport ecosystem. Gianluca is currently COO Waterborne Mobility System at AVM/Actv Venezia, the main public transport provider for the urban area of Venice and the suburban area up to Padua, Treviso and Rovigo.

Philippe Vappereau is the CEO of CNA. He has over 30 years of knowledge and experience in the transport and mobility sector, and leads the association in its efforts to advance open systems that support seamless, consumer ticketing needs. Prior to joining CNA in 2008, Philippe held senior leadership positions at RATP and RATP Smart Systems (ex Ixxi). He holds a diploma in Engineering from École Supérieure D’électricité (Supélec).

He is the former General Manager of Belgian Mobility Card (BMC), the MoBIB card for public transport and related services, where he was responsible for the organisation at a country level. Erik previously held senior roles at STIB, including the role of IT Director, with responsibilities for significant IT projects to support the metro, tram and bus networks within Brussels.

She joined the association in 2020, after 15 years supporting IBM in Brazil, where she had the opportunity to work across multiple different areas. Before her last assignment, in Project Management, she held a position in Supply Chain and Compliance, focusing on Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and supporting internal and external audits. Naomi holds a diploma in Business Administration.

Manon Chaix brings specialist knowledge and experience in the field of public relations including the development of institutional partnerships and driving awareness of ticketing and ITS in new markets. She holds a Master’s degree in the marketing of sports events and leisure activities.
