This document specifies the version 1.2 Edition 2 of the Calypso Light product.A Calypso Light product is a contactless smartcard containing only one application, which shall comply with the requirements of the present document. It can be used for access to public transportation, for access to city services, or for many other applications.
Calypso Light is an application largely compatible with the Calypso Prime Revision 3 specifications: 060708-SP-CalypsoPrime (the present specification is based upon a subset of this document).
This document covers all the requirements for Calypso Light and makes reference to the Calypso Prime specification for topics that are common to both products.
