Document Summary
This document presents the Calypso card functional certification scheme, i.e. the infrastructure used to grant certificates for cards in compliance with either the Calypso Prime, the Calypso Light or the Calypso Basic specifications.It defines the objectives of the certification, the different parties involved, the certification process, the management of certificates and their life cycle (e.g. publication, archiving).
The contractual terms for evaluation and certification services are out of the scope of this document. These are managed by the Certification Body and the Laboratories, respectively.
