Calypso Basic is an application largely compatible with the Calypso Prime specifications. The present specification is based upon a subset of this last document.

This document covers all the requirements for Calypso Basic and makes reference to the Calypso Light or Calypso Prime specifications for topics that are common to the entire range of products.

While knowledge of the other product specifications is not mandatory it helps understand the full context and environment to which Calypso Basic belongs.
