This document presents the CNA evaluation process of the Reader Layer of a terminal.

This evaluation is not a product certification. Its goal is to assure the end user of the product that the Vendor took into account the requirements published by the CNA Technical Workgroup to help software developers to correctly manage all types of cards and SAMs by a smartcard reader, at the lower level of the transaction.
